Hi everyone, This morning when I got to work I found that no Outlook Clients could connect to the exchange server. After further inspection I noticed that the Information Store service had Crashed. Checking the event viewer I notice event ID Event 9673 with code 0xc00000fd and I've checked the following document: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/959135 I'm currently running Exchange 2007 8.0.685.25 and I'm wondering will upgradeing to SP2 solve this problem for me for sure? Are there any other issues that I should be looking out for. Also, I've inherited a network with what was documented as a "primary" exchange server - e.g. exchange1 and a secondary exchange server e.g. Exchange2. However, I have a feeling that the "secondary" server only has the Exchange Management console and Powershell installed on it so I would like to know how to determine if this is a full install of Exchange 2007 on the second server. If I am upgrading to Exchange 2007 SP2 should I upgrade the main server first and then the "secondary" server? Anything to be cautious of during the upgrade? Thanks in advance, MCSA, CCNA, JNCIA

Wow! You're running the RTM version of Exchange?! I've never installed SP2 onto a RTM version before, but the release notes say you can "Upgrade a computer that is running the original release version of Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2007 SP2" so have at it! >Are there any other issues that I should be looking out for. If the secondary server isn't an Exchange server, there's no dependancies -- except you won't be able to manage Exchange 2007 SP2 with the SP1 tools. Please upgrade the server to SP2 and test the issue, you're still running on RTM version.
