Information Store doesn't start automatically, event id 7024
I tried installing DPM on the Exchange Server. Installation failed and it completely blew up the virtual folders. So I uninstalled all of DPM, then to reset the virtual folders I removed the client access role, removed IIS, reinstalled IIS and reinstalled client access role. Now functionality is back to normal, except whenever that server is rebooted now Information Store and System Attendant don't start. I can start them manually and everything functions then.
Event Viewer doesn't say anything about System Attendant, on the Information Store it says this:
The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service terminated with service-specific error 0 (0x0).
And it logs event id 7024.
About all I could find on that id is that it could be a permission issue. But all the steps recommended in those articles seem to be good, plus I didn't move anything or delete any accounts, I just uninstalled and re-installed. And obviously the service works, I just would like for it start automatically like it used to.
Any ideas of what it is unhappy about?
Thank you

I know this is an old thread, but I'm wondering if you ever got a solution for this
I have the exact same problem after migrating a server - it's the only boot error. I put in a boot script to start IS after a delay, but I'd like to fix the problem if I can.
