InfoPath 2013 Crashes Opening 2007 Forms

My company has hundreds of forms published using IP2007.  Ever since we have been upgraded to 2013, IP2013 keeps crashing trying to open 2007 forms.

Below is the crash code.  I tried looking for a solution but can not find anything pertaining to IP2013 only IP2010.

The closest thing I came to was http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2010-infopath/kb2760406-infopath-error-after-update/58631190-8bc1-401a-921c-b6351474350b and that was not the issue.

Help please and thanks!

Hi,

The issue may lie with access violation and there are lots of cause that result this issue. Such as InfoPath forms that created using InfoPath 2007 and upgrade to 2010, then some process may cause this.

You may need to keep your InfoPath and SharePoint server updated, and then check the issue:

You can also check this thread with a similar issue:

Hi,

The original issue was with an upgrade from InfoPath 2007 to InfoPath 2013.  You list possible solutions above but those are for migrations of InfoPath 2007 to InfoPath 2010.  Do you have any information that could be more applicable to this specific migration scenario (2007 to 2013)?

At my organization we are running SharePoint 2007 and have recently upgraded MS Office from 2007 to 2013.

I am having issues similar to the original poster's.

This is an event within the Event Viewer that describes part of the issue:

We are experiencing the same error with Office 2013 and ProPlus client installs when trying to open InfoPath templates or saved outputs on a 2007 site, a 2007 mode site on 2010 infrastructure and a 2010 site. We have seen no difference in changing the form version. Any assistance is appreciated.
