Incoming external mail not forwarding
We have several users here who like to have their mail forwarded to an external account. I set up Contacts for all of these external accounts. Internal emails are forwarding to the external accounts just fine. But if someone gets an email from an outside account it is not being forwarded to their external account. I have been poking around for a while now and haven't been able to find an answer to this one.

This is Exchange Server 2003 by the way running on Windows Server 2003 R2.

Checking the Message Tracking helped me figure it out. We are using Webroot Email Security SaaS to scan all inbound and outbound email. Exchange was passing the message along to Webroot and that was where it was being dropped. The Webroot system was only allowing outbound mailwith our domain name. We changed it to accept all outbound mail from the Exchange IP address and that fixed it.
