Hi All, Some incoming e-mails (reply with an especific subject) go to the deleted folder. The user close it Outlook and I disabled their Outlook Rules. I also validated that rules were disabled from OWA. However, this incoming e-mails, which are replies with an specific subject go to the deleted folder. There is no rule on Exchange Server. Any Ideas?Regards. Jos Osorio.

Export the rules from Outlook, then start Outlook fresh with the /cleanrules switch and see if the problem continues. Make sure there are not any other copies of Outlook running somewhere else.

Hi, Have you tried to start outlook in safe mode [hold ctrl key while startup] to see if this issue go away? If this issue not happen in safe mode, it caused by add-ins. You can disable add-ins in outlook 2007 by following steps. 1. In Outlook 2007, go to Tools > Trust Center 2. Click on the Add-ins section 3. You will now see all active, non-active, and disabled add-ins. Click on the add-in you want to enable/disable and then click on the Go button towards the bottom. 4. This will then open up the COM add-ins page. You can then check/uncheck the add-ins you want to enabe or disable. And if you scan incoming mail with your antivirus program, it may occur also. --------------------------------- Any hidden or stale mailbox rules? Any chance this could have something to do with it (I don't see why, but the calendar business seemed to be the issue for the other guy): http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvradmin/thread/03863f68-8f25-43b9-aee2-8b7aa0b99bce ???Please mark as helpful if you find my contribution useful or as an answer if it does answer your question. If it's urgent and you are running short of time then, take the backup of the emails , delete the mailbox, recreate it and then attach the mailbox to the same users account. Thanks ..

Hi Jose, Please use below: get-inboxrule, confirm whether there is not a proper rule. You also could use below article the inboxrule using test-mesage: http://blogs.technet.com/b/tkern/archive/2011/07/06/test-message-improvements-in-exchange-2010-sp1.aspx Then, remove the inboxrule: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd351272.aspx Regards!Gavin TechNet Community Support

Can you move the mailbox to another store?
March 28th, 2012 12:37pm

Hi A_D_, I did that with the option that if there is corrupted message skip the mailbox movement. That didn't work. I disable NOD32 and HP add-ins for Outlook. Also I configure the mailbox account (without rules) on another machine. But that didn't workRegards. Jos Osorio.

Check Message tracking. If there is a rule that is moving the message, it will list the name of the folder the message was moved to in the tracking log under the RecipientStatus field.

Hi A_D_, There is no options which is related to deleted folder. Regards. Jos Osorio. So message tracking shows it being delivered to the inbox, no listing of the deleted items folder in the tracking log under RecpientStatus? Do you have any 3rd party anti-spam , av or content filtering agents installed on the Exhange Server(s)? Transport rules? ( As opposed to Outlook rules?) What version of Exchange is this (service pack and rollup?)
March 28th, 2012 7:46pm

Hi A_D_, Hi didnt see if that was delivered to the inbox. There is nothing related to that. THe messages that go to the deleted folder are internal messages. So, anti-spam is not important. There is no filtering agents installed on Exchange Server. I re-check the transport rules. There is nothing strange on them. Exchange 14.1 (Build 218.15) Regards. Jos Osorio.

Hi Gavin-Zhang, The user has configured a Blackberry device. I enabled audit on her mailbox. Then I noticed that besadmin account is moving some e.mails to deleted folder. I will disable her blackberry device and then remove besadmin account full access permissions on this user. Then I will check If the problem persist. Thanks for your helpRegards. Jos Osorio.

Hi Jose, if you disabled the blackberry device and removed the besadmin account from the user mailbox for testing purpose then its fine but not a feasible solution, you need to look the Blackberry device settings and look if there is any forwarding set for the incoming emails. Apart from this what you can test also suspecting that might be AutomateProcessing flag is set incorrectly in this case it was set to Autoaccept., instead of Autoupdate. ------------------------------ To check and fix it, do the following (using the Exchange Server 2007 Management Shell): 1. First Verify that the flag was set incorrectly or not: get-mailboxcalendarsettings username | fl The first line of the output showed that the AutomateProcessing was set to AutoAccept, which is great if you are a conference room, but not so good if you are a regular user 2. So change the setting to AutoUpdate set-mailboxcalendarsettings username -automateprocessing: Autoupdate Thanks

Hi Amit, That is already set up as Autoupdate. The issue remains I could not be able to find any solutions to this. So, I have to delete her mailbox and the create it again.Regards. Jos Osorio.

Hello Jose , As seems to be you have done most of the things and i hope will in correct order now if it's possible then try the below options, hope that will fix the issues specific to that user and users mailbox. 1. Clean /Wipe the users Blackberry device do the test if same, and try to do the test without blackberry configuration, remove the user or remove the sync between users mailbox and balckberry, Do the test if still the same got to next option 2. Make a backup of users mailbox and delete that , re-create tthe same and then do the test, if still the same.the got to next option 3. Delete the Users Ad account, create the new one and then try to attach with old mailbox if still the same, move on to next option. 4. With the new AD account, attach the newly created mailbox and then do the same hope this will fix the issue. Pls update after this. Thanks
