No. That is an exclusively client side setting which cannot be automated. I have been looking for a way to do so since at least 2004 and Exchange 2003. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources | In the UK? Hire Me.

Hi, I am not sure if I misunderstand you. The issue is: 1. You want public contact folder display in Global Address List automatically. 2. The public contact folder only display in Global Address List after you check the option “show this folder as an e-mail address book” If I misunderstand you, please let me know. As my test in my lab environment: Exchange 2010 Outlook 2010. The result is as below: 1. Outlook work in online model. 2. When the public contact folder is mail enabled, the folder will display in Global Address List. 2. When the public contact folder is mail disabled, the folder will not display in Global Address List. Hi, I am not sure if I misunderstand you. I think you have. The way I have read this question is the OP has a Public Folder that contains Contacts and wants this Public Folder to appears as a source of addresses, like the GAL and the personal address book. Hi simon, It seems you are correct. As my test, it is unable to display the public folder in GAL keeping the parent and child relationship. The mail enable child public folders will display in GAL singly. Hi C.itech, Do you have any update?
