Inbox completely deletes emails in inbox after a few minutes
We have one user who I just created yesterday that when they get an email it stays in their inbox for a few minutes then just completely disappears. It's not in any other folder or in the deleted items. I've tried to login via webmail and the emails don't show up there either. They literally just vanish before your eyes.I cannot figure out if it's an Exchange issue or Outlook issue. I've reinstalled Office, I've also deleted and recreated the users account in Active Directory. We have Office 2003 and Exchange 2003.

Please check if theres any rule in the problematic users outlook (The rules store in the mailbox), if yes, please disable all the rules and try to reproduce the issue Please try to move the problematic mailbox to another store, and check the issue Does this issue can be reproduced on all newly created mailboxes?

There are no rules. The mailbox is basically bare bones. I created two users that day, one is fine, the other is having these weird issues. Normally there's some kind of paper trail to figure out a problem like this, but unfortunately it's made it almost completely trial and error to troubleshoot. I'm planning on setting up the account on a new PC to see if I can rule outsome weirdPC issue. How do I put it on another store? I've never done that.If that still produces the same problem, I'm going to give the user a new username and try that. But obviously any help before I get to that point is appreciated :)

Update. On the new computer the issue persists. Must be somewhere with Exchange.

Found the culprit, the user had set up some 3rd party email thing that connected to his inbox without my knowledge and read his email, and didn't save a copy on the server.
