Import External Contacts in Exchange global Address List..!
Hello,I want to Import External Contacts into GAL for users to send mail to these contacts and able search them in global Address book but I do not want to create a user account for these contacts...! I'm running Exchange 2003.I appreciate any help...!ThanksRao

Two ways of doing this.1. Import the contacts locally on the outlook profiles.2. Create contacts on the AD (dont need to create domain users).Depends what exactly your requirements are .. If every body is going to use them, create it in AD or else import locally on the Outlook profiles.Raj

Thanks for your help...! When I import the contacts its creating the contact but not displaying them in the Global Address Book...! Also how do I create external email address for the contact...! I appreciate any help...!ThanksRao

Hi,You may need to create email enabled contact from EMC/EMS. Thanks Xiu EMS will create bulk mail boxes I don't want to create mail box I just need an external mail contacts to be created and show up in GAL...! Also I'm running Exchange 2003 not on Excahnge 2007...!ThanksRao
