Import-mailbox yield success but NO items imported
Hi all. Running E2K7 SP1 rollup 7 - so totally current. Other posts here and there indicated this kind of issue but PRE rollup *2* All my ducks are in a row, AFAIK. 32-bit, Mgmt Tools, Outlook SP2, Admin rights to machine, domain, mailbox.... Yes D:\PSTs\ is a local drive on the 2003 32-bit member server that I'm using to run the operation. I get "success" (Completion) when I run Import-Mailbox Identity user1 PSTFolderPath: D:\PSTs\user1.pst but absolutely nothing imports, not just non-standard folders, or what-have-you. NADA. IF anyone has any ideas, it would save me having to disrupt the users and do all of the importing through Outlook... THANK YOU any and ALL _____________ Import-Mailbox Identity user1 PSTFolderPath: D:\PSTs\user1.pst result: Confirm Are you sure you want to perform this action? Importing mailbox content from .pst file 'D:\PSTs\User1.pst' to mailbox 'User One'. This operation may take a long time to complete. Hi, How did you get the pst file, via export-mailbox or export from outlook 2003? If it is export from outlook, then Id like to know what is the type of the profile, Microsoft Exchange or POP3. Please try to download MFCMapi and try to find PR_Associated_message_Count on the inbox folder. 1. Launch MFCMAPI tool on the users client. 2. Go to Session -> Logon and Display Store Table 3. Select the outlook profile of the user and double-click Mailbox - your user name 4. Expand "Root Container" 5. Expand "Top of Information Store" Note: if the user has configured the outlook profile to use cached mode, we need to expand IPM_subtree under root container 6. Select on "Inbox", right click on it and to find the attribute. Besides, please apply rollup 7 on computer where you have Management Tool installed. Regards, Xiu
