Check if this will help:

Open the diagram in iGrafx Flowcharter
  • From the Tools menu, select 'Export Diagram...'
  • At the 'Export Diagram' dialog, select 'AutoCAD DXF Interchange (*.dxf)' in the 'Save as Type' combo box
  • Press 'Save'
Open Visio and import the diagram
  • From the File menu, select 'open'
  • In the 'Open' dialog, select 'AutoCAD Drawing (*.dwg;*.dxf)' in the 'Files of type' combo box
  • Locate the file exported from the iGrafx application
Convert the diagram to Visio
  • Right-click on the diagram
  • From the context menu, select 'Cad Drawing Object | Convert...'
  • In the 'Convert CAD Object' dialog, click the 'OK' button

Visio stops responding in step 6. I locate the dxf file and open it (before converting steps). Then Visio stops responding and I have to shutdown the application. Do you know why this could happen and how I can fix it?

Which version of Visio? Which version of Igraphx? How big is the file?
