Use scanpst.exe or Inbox Repair Tool which is free inbuilt utility provided by Microsoft Outlook to recover the corrupted and damaged Outlook PST data file. This tool is totally free and helps to fix the errors issues in Outlook.

Note: Sometimes scanpst.exe is not enough to fix the Outlook errors or Outlook data file corruption and in such circumstances you should go for any third party utility.

Before any 3rd party program should be considered, really need to ensure that whatever issue is being encountered is in fact the result of a "corrupt PST file". A corrupt PST file - or to put it another way - a PST file that cannot be "corrected" by using <ScanPST> should NOT "automatically be assumed" to be a corrupt file.

There are 2 things that people should look at when reviewing any post that simply recommends a 3rd party product (which is not in reference to <Clark445Kent>'s post) which are:

#1 - Does the person posting the recommendation bother to ask what the actual problem is that is being encountered to confirm that the "suggested tool" is even relevant AND

#2 - If you click on the poster's name - was there profile created on the same day (or within a few days) of the response with any other activity other than "recommending" a 3rd party tool.
