Do you have multiple partitions? You can try to move you paging file to a different partition. Do a search on your hard drive for large files and see if there is anything that you can delete and get quick sapce back. I suggest you move your databases off of your C drive once you get it back up and running.Tim Harrington - Catapult Systems - http://HowDoUC.blogspot.com

Hi Grant , you can use 3rd party partitioning software as well for merging your C and D Drive or even changing its capacity and also when you get done with this so try to move your databases to some other partition because it will better that put your databases on different partition from your System Drive. You can try this : 1. uninstall some unnecessary program 2. Run Disk Cleanup 3. Move your Exchange database to the bigger partition (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822676) 4. Ask your clients to empty Deleted folder After you move the database, please do Quota policy in your Exchange server, if your client's mailbox is full, ask them to move old email to the personal folders

Hi LandGrant, > How do I free up space on my microsoft exchange server 2003 C drive. My email stopped functioning. I received notice that I needed to free up space. What steps can I take to free up the space. I want my email to > begin to send and receive again. First you have to check out why your disk is full! You can use treesize for this job. I believe your logfiles disk is full and the exchange databases are cleanly shutdown. Well embarrassing but not a broken leg in terms of Exchange. :-) Here are some possibilities for Windows to get free disk space. After this you can start the information store again: - C:\PAGEFILE.SYS - Move the pagefile.sys to another disk or reduce them. - C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\LOGS Move or delete the Windows log files - Search for big files (MP3, AVI, MPG, WAV, ISO) and delete them. After your Exchange is running again and it took a load off your mind, you have to read this article: http://www.msexchange.org/articles/Exchange-log-disk-full.html Best regards Christian

Hi , Have you got C & D Drive in your my computer if yes than you can use 3rd party partitioning tool for re-organizing your partitions for example you can use Partition Magic or there are many other tools available for partition re-organization. Also these tools are very easy to use and you dont need any additional training for them. Regards. Shafaquat Ali.M.C.I.T.P Exchange 2007 M.C.I.T.P Windows Server 2008 M.C.T.S OCS Server 2007 R2

Open up Disk Management, you should be able to see what partitions are created and teh physical drives that they are on. Let us know what you see.Tim Harrington - Catapult Systems - http://HowDoUC.blogspot.com
