I need different Global Address Lists in my Exchange 2007 organization
Hello, I'm trying to design an architecture for a higher-education environment. For compliance reasons, we cannot let our students resolve all users through the Global Address list. However, our professors very much want to be able to see those students (as well as other professors).I think the best way to accomplish this is through two separate GALs, but there is very little information anywhere on how to accomplish this with Exchange 2007.Questions I need answered to use Exchange 2007 in this higher education environment include:* How can I associate a specific GAL to be the default for a user, or group of users?* How can I restrict a GAL from being visible to a user, or group of users? These are pretty basic questions, I think. I have been playing with the product and tried to use the PowerShell scripts. I have been able to create additional address lists, but I haven't been able to accomplish the two (very important) things above. What am I missing? Is this just not possible with Exchange 2007?Help.
