I get duplicate copies in the deleted folder. How do i resolve this
I have a single end user with Outlook 2010 installed. We have an onsite Exchange 2007 system that is using IMAP to connect onsite users. This individual also has multiple Apple devices that his email is linked to. ( iPad, iPhone, iMac). The email is only
duplicated in the Deleted Items folder when he deletes an email and it is not every email.

Does the user have an anti-virus enabled? I have seen this issue with AVG using the mail scanner on the local machine. It only does it for the deleted items. Try disabling the local anti virus. If the exchange server is on site what is stopping you from
using MAPI over IMAP? I am assuming you are also using imap on the mobile devices instead of activesync as well?--Mike--

Sorry, I meant MAPI for onsite and as for the mobile devices he is using the Exchange account setup that is built into the i-devices. I am not sure if that is IMAP or activesync. I know that activesync is being used by many of our Droid users. We have
Eset Nod32 so I will try the email disable and see it that makes a difference.
Thanks,

Hello,
Does the emails duplicated itself once moving it to the deleted items?
Try using the MFCMAPI tool to check the deleted items folder. Remove the duplicated copies and see if the issue can be reproduced.
