First of all, do you have MX record defined for your email domain? If yes, what does it resolves to?

Thanks for reply,

I forget to mention we have mail flow to smart host Office 365 , as attached file,

So, now I want to make mail flow pass through only Exchange sever and decommission and remove office 365,

Thanks in advanced

I didn't see what the MX resolves to. By right, it should be resolve to an A record. Do you mind to let me know what is your email domain so that I can do DNS lookup?

Hi,

According to you post, I notice that the MX record for immdf.org remain point to Office 365.

Do you modify the settings in On-premise environment before this issue arise?

By default, we have two option for transport routing in Hybrid environment, keep your MX record pointed to your on-premises organization or point your MX record to the EOP service in the Office 365 organization. Meanwhile, we need relevant connector for mail flow between On-premise and Office 365. For your reference:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj659050(v=exchg.150).aspx
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms.exch.eac.connectorselection(v=exchg.150).aspx

For your question, We need to modify the MX record to point to On-premise instead of Office 365, also configure connector to inbound and outbound, relevant connector to Office 365.
