I cannot install 32-bit version of Exchange Management Tools
Hello, I am having trouble installing the Exchange2007 Management tools (32-bit version) on a Windows cluster environment. The tools will be used for our backup program also running on the cluster. I was able to successfully install the managment tools on the failover node, but they will not install on the other node. We have an active/passive cluster with two nodes. Both nodes are running Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. The error I get is in refernce to not having a valid IPv4 IP Address, which is absurd because both nodes have IPv4 addresses. We don't have IPv6 installed on either node, but yet I'm getting this error on one node. Here is the error I get from Exchange Management Tools: Code Snippet Summary: 1 item(s). 0 succeeded, 1 failed. Elapsed time: 00:00:18 Management Tools PrerequisitesFailed Error:This computer is running Windows Server 2003 and has not been assigned an IPv4 address. Check the network configuration. IPv6 is only supported in Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 when it is installed on a Windows Server 2008 computer that has both IPv4 and IPv6 enabled. See http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=102391 for more details. Elapsed Time: 00:00:18. I've checked the network configurations (of both nodes). They're identical as far as the setup is concerned. I tried doing a Google search on the problem with no avail. Please help. Thank you.
