I can't view shared calendar details in the Scheduling Assistant using Outlook 2010
I'm using Windows 7, Office 2010, and running Outlook on Exchange 2008. I can overlay other co-workers' calendars which I have permissions from them to view, but when I create a meeting, and invite these people, I'm unable to view why they are busy in the Scheduling Assistant tab. Even after saving the appointment (but not yet sending it) I can't view the busy details, yet I can view all the details on their actual calendar.

Hi, Please test the problem in outlook online mode: a. Click File->E-mail Accounts. b. Highlight the outlook account, click Change. c. Uncheck the "Use Cached Exchange mode" checkbox and restart the outlook. What's result? If the issue persists, please move to the next steps: a. Open the user's account by using Outlook. Right click Calendar folder and choose change sharing permissions. b. Click your account and choose the Permission Level to Owner. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. Thanks Gen Lin-MSFT
