I can't open MS office files from Sharepoint O365. I get the error "Sorry, We can't perform this action. Incompatible Office products...

The full error message is

Sorry, we can't perform this action. Incompatible Office products are installed on your machine. If you have an administrator, please contact them for help.

I have already tried uninstalling the kb2920798 update and restarted with no luck. Then I uninstalled Office 2013 and then re-installed it and it didn't work. It seems as though it is a problem with onedrive possibly, but doing the Office 2013 install gave it a fresh install, so I'm not sure. I can download and open them, but only from sharepoint the issue is happening. Please help

Do you have any other Office components installed on the same machine? Some have reported that uninstalling SharePoint Designer 2010 /OneDrive for Business 2013 will fix the issue.

So, if you have the same stuff on your computer, please try to uninstall it, then try again.
