INETINFO.EXE PROBLEM???
One of my clients has a server running Server 2003 SP2, Exchange 2003 SP2. I have run a complete Virus and Melware Scan and all is clear. Often during the day, inetinfo.exe comes in using about 25 to 30% of the CPU. I didn't think this was a problem until I reliazed it was causing the server to Freeze and all users were being kicked out of their applications. I have searched Google and technet and cannot find a resolution. I can't just disable IISAdmin, because although they are not hosting a web server or FTP server, they do rely heaviliy on Exchange. I do have the switch for Exchange in the Boot.ini because the server has 2GB of ram. I have reinstalled SP2 on both the server and Exchange, but can't seem to stop this problem. Any help would be very greatly appreciated. thank you Tony.

Yikes, I am having the same problem on my own servers. inetinfo.exe climbs anywhere between 35 and 60 percent of CPU. I have tried the same things with service pack's and such with no help and my performance logs havent shown up anything substantial. Has anyone else seen this problem, or possibly might have any ideas for a next step? Thanks

I have exactly the same problem, running Exchange 2003 SP2. Have tried a full update and various hotfixes, but still the problem persists.

I too have the same problem! :-| I run Exchange 2003 SP2 on a Windows Server 2003 standard. Cpu is about 50% usage - all "inetinfo.exe".... Tried virus scan etc., but nothing seems to fix the problem. Hello Microsoft?!?!

I am working with a Server 2000 Exchange Enterprise 2000 that has been in place for years and starting days ago email and email server responsiveness dropped dramatically. All I find is inetinfo.exe accounting for 90%+ of processor utilization. Does anybody know anything about inetinfo.exe functionality?
