IMCEAEX-ADCDisabledMail errors on Exchange Transport Server

We are getting 9217 error on one of exchange HUB/Transport servers recently. I did cleanup of LegacyExchangDN in AD but still getting the error. We have three Hub/Transport Servers but only one of them populated with 9217 error. Much appreciate if anyone can share how to fix this issue. Thanks !

Hello

Please find out which 2 objects in AD are configured with  IMCEAEX-ADCDisabledMail@domain.com smtp. it seems you are unable to find the duplicate entry. Also check some disabled account etc. you can also try

Get-MailboxDatabase | clean-mailboxdatabase

Thanks for replying. I searched the AD with following command but couldn't find any.

Get-Mailbox -resultsize unlimited  | where {$_.EmailAddresses -like "*IMCEAEX-ADCDisabledMail*"}

Can you let me know What "Get-MailboxDatabase | clean-mailboxdatabase" will do to resolve the issue ?

Sometimes there is some attributes already been removed but still exist. It will update your disconnected mailboxes details as well.

Hi,

Please run the following command in Windows PowerShell to have a try:

Get-ADObject -LDAPFilter "(&(objectClass=user)(objectCategory=person)(legacyExchangeDN=ADCDisabledMail))" -Properties LegacyExchangeDN | Set-ADObject -Clear LegacyExchangeDN

there is no impact, it will also help you to see the disabled mailboxes which are not visible in disconnected mailbox console.
