IMAP are not downloading/synchronizing all the sent emails in outlook 2013.

Hi,

we have configured the outlook 2013 in IMAP account. It is working fine.It is downloading all the incoming emails from the email server.

In sent items ,it is not synchronizing all the emails in outlook 2013.For example,in  email server we are having 4000 emails in sent items but it is not showing the  4000 emails in outlook 2013.

It is synchronized only 1000 emails in sent items of outlook 2013.

Please let me know is there any settings to be done for IMAP account in SENT Items of outlook 2013.

Hi Pradeep.R,

So this only happen to the Sent Items folder. Have you ever rooted your mailbox by setting the Root folder path option in your account settings?

File-> Account Settings-> Account Settings>click on your IMAP account>More Options>Advanced tab.

Please take a look at this article: http://www.msoutlook.info/question/736

Try to assign the correct folders on the mail server, then try again.

Hi Ethan Hua,

Yes,the issue is with the sent folder items. I have checked the settings in IMAP account & the Root folder Path remains blank.

Hi Pradeep.R,

Please try to create a new folder on the web based mail portal, then move or copy all the sent email items into the new folder. Try to sync from Outlook client and see if this new created folder and the email items in it can be downloaded into Outlook.

Dear Ethan Hua,

The problem is resolved .Now,I am receiving all the sent emails which are in the server from the date of beginning to till now.

As per your Engineer instruction,i have changed the setting in outlook 2013

1. " Mail to keep offline :all

2. changed the settings in the gmail server as "DO NOT LIMIT THE NUMBER OF MESSAGES IN AN IMAP FOLDER (DEFAULT)

Refer to the second point, earlier i have specified the limit in IMAP FOLDER, because of that we are not able to receive all the mails from the server.

Thanks all for your support.
