IIS Error on Exchange Server 2007
Hello I have a problem on my new installed CCR failover cluster on windows server 2008. Sometimes I get an IIS error on the clustered mailbox server: Code SnippetThe task was not able to connect to IIS on the server 'NAME'. Ensure that the server exists and is reachable from this computer: The RPC server is unavailable. Does someone know where this comes from and how to get rid of the error? Thanks! Norbert

Hi Xiu Thanks for your reply. Thereis no entry in the event log. Is it right that my exchange ccr (installed in a org with also exc2003) has the IIS directories: - exchange, - public and - exadmin installed? Because in the IIS Admin I get the error: Code SnippetCould not find a part of the path \\.\BackOfficeStorage Thanks Norbert

Hello Again I did some tests on my exchange ccr (based on ws2008). I get the IIS erroronly somethimes when I do a failover of the exchange group. In this case, the EMC is opened and on the "degraded active node" the error in the first postoccurs. Is this a problem? How can this be reslved? Thanks a lot! Norbert
