IISRESET and Exchange 2003 SP2 questoin
Hello, We are updating our IUSR/IWAM user passwords to help comply with the PCI-DDS. Found this link on updating the passwors and process: http://www.howtonetworking.com/internet/resetpassword.htm I have a quick question regarding this and Exchange. When I go to run the password change for both a back end. It seem to take a long time (ok about 30 sec to a minutre). It looks to be bouncing the Protocals as it resets the IIS. I know that there will be in interuption on the front end as it resets the IIS. On the backend server will the users be affected (the OWA or just the normal Outlook clients during this process)? Thanks Adam

Hi Adam, In my opinion, it would also affect the backend, as the front end proxy the back end. Regards! Gavin
