ID NO: DS_INSUFFICIENT_ACCESS_RIGHTS
I Apologise if this is the wrong sectionHi I work for a company that still runs 5.5, now they have multiple exchange servers (12) which i can get onto using Exchange Administrator and make changes ,creates accounts ect, but their is just one box the gives me the error below. My permissions are exactly the same as my other workmates and none of us have a clue what is happening ( great eh what a team but we are all new to it, but even the other guys with experience cannot work it out )any advise much appreciated.... .......................................................................................................................... Exchange 2007 and Exchange 5.5 are not supported to run in the same environment. I don't believe Exchange 2007 (12) and Exchange 5.5 are even capable of talking with each other.Did they install Exchange 2003 or Exchange 2000? They may be in a serious pickle......BP

I think you misunderstood me i was not referring to Exchange 2007 (12) 12 was the number of exchange servers they have.

Ok, well, either way they should deploy Exchange 2003 first, migrate all mailboxes to 2003, decomission 5.5 then install 2007BP

Hi,What is the OS version of the Exchange Server,Windows 2000 or Windows 2003?Which account that you use? Please try to find the account in ADUC and right click on the account to find the groups that the account "Memeber of".What action you are doing when the error occurred?Regards,Xiu
