Hi,

In a word document, I am able to link to another word document's bookmarked section using the following:

\\ SERVER \ SHARE \ Document.docx#bookmarkname

But I can't get this to work from a web page on SharePoint online. The word document opens, but it does not scroll down to the bookmarked section.

Is this functionality still possible when linking from an HTML page to a word document?

Since the feature works in Word but doesn't work on the web page, I think the issue is better to be addressed on SharePoint side. I suggest you post the question in the forum below to get more dedicated support:
