How to use an Excel Add-in on an Excel file for users on different systems

I downloaded an Excel Add in from this link http://www.jkp-ads.com/Download.asp

Sheetstool - Add in ... I have an excel dashboard file which has multiple sheets and found this add in very useful to move to different sheets from the top ribbon bar. I am not sure how to use this add-in so that if I share the excel with different users, they are also able to use it.

Any help on this issue, will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Karan,

I'd recommend contacting the add-in developers for any further guidance.

Anyway, the forum is for developers. I'd suggest asking non-programming questions on the Excel IT Pro Discussions forum instead.

Hi Karan,

Based on your description, you want the function of this Sheetstool add-in can also be used with different users. Could you tell me the meaning of different users? If the users works with each own system or they work in the same system with each account?

Installation of an Office Add-in is done user-by-user. All the settings that cause the add-in to be included in EXCEL or other applications are in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER hive of the registry. So one user installing the Add-in won't cause it to show up in any other user's application. The problem is, the e-Synergy installation checks for an already-installed Add-in by trying to connect to the COM component, which WILL work even if it was installed by another user.

So if the users with each own system, the best way to solve your question is to download this add-in in each system.

But it is possible for an administrator to install it for multiple users in the same system. Please refer to these articles and try the methods to get more information:
