How to update GAL by non-tech staff
Currently running a 2003 native domain with Exchange 2003 in front/back end configuration. Up until recently we only populated user email addresses in Exchange and thus Global Address List. However, we now updated most users with their phone numbers as well allowing for blackberry users, etc to have access to their numbers in one easy place. The issue I have is now keeping them up to date. Our Reception/Admin Asst currently keeps a hard copy phone list for all our locations up to date in public folders. I would like for her to be able to up date the contact info fields in GAL for all users as well. What are my options? As she is not technical, I would prefer not for her to utilize Active Directory Users and Computers even with restricted delegated permissions. Are there any 3rd party programs that are commonly used? Any advice appreciated. Thanks
