How to setup Terminal Services so that Outlook will not ask for  password
I have a 2003 Domain with Exchange 2003 and have RDP Clients that logon remotely. I want the Clients to be able to logon and automatically be authenticated to the Exchange Server and not have Outlook ask for their password since they have already inputted their password when they initially logged on via RDP. As the Administrator how can I set this up? I found a few articles using the Office Resource Kit but that doesn't seem to answer the question exactly. Please assist.

Is the terminal server joined to the domain? if so, and they are opening their own mailboxes you should not be prompted for authentication when launching Outlook. Does this occur on workstations?

I believe I found the answer to the question: Is the Terminal Server a member Server in the Domain? Does DNS point to the FQDN? You need to download the Office Resource Kit for Office 2003 from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=4bb7cb10-a6e5-4334-8925-3bcf308cfbaf&displaylang=en. Install the Resource Kit and all its components.Open the Custom Installation Wizard. It should be located under Start, Programs, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office Tools, Office Resource Kit, Custom Installation Wizard.Step through the wizard. You will need to specify the location, on your network, of the Office 2003 MSI file which will be used for the installation. This will need to be accessible to users at the path you enter. You will then be asked for the location to create a new MST file. Put it in the same directory as the MSI (above). You can then step all the way through the wizard until you get towards the end. This is where you will be asked, just like in an Outlook prompt, to enter the name of the Exchange Server. Enter that, and then %username% in the username field. You can adjust the Cached Exchange Mode options as you wish.At the end of the wizard, it will write the MST file and give you the shortcut which I mentioned above. When you want to install Office with the customized installation so that it auto-connects to Exchange, open a command prompt, navigate to the Office directory and execute the shortcut. Create new CMW file using the Custom Maintenance Wizard Tool In the CMW Wizard, Modified the Outlook settings (Step 12/18) Selected Modify Profile option, configured the exchange server name and %username% Executed the CMW file, MAINTWIZ.EXE /c C:\OFFICE.CMW /l*V C:\CMW.Log Maintwiz.exe can be found in C:\Program Files\ORKTOOLS\ORK11\TOOLS\Custom Maintenance Wizard Maintenance wizard create the following registry key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\OfficeCustomMaintenanceWizard HKCU\Software\Microsoft\OfficeCustomMaintenanceWizard John Torres
