How to set-up Exchanger server not to use godaddy
Is there a way for to setup exchange server POP and SMTP server so I don't have to use go daddy. Here is my setup I using go daddy pop address as a pop Connector in the Windows SBS POP3 Connector I would like my server to control how the mail enter and leave. Learning is awesome.

Sure, it is possible. If it is SBS that you have everything installed on one machine. Get rid of POP3 connector, setup receive connector and send connector, point MX dns record to your server, open port 25 on firewall. And you should be good with it. There isn't much more to add other than what has already been said. Run through the Internet Email setup wizard in SBS to set the server to use SMTP delivery. If it asks about the POP3 connector, I would leave that configuration alone, so that you pick up any email from senders with the old DNS information. The crucial thing is to have port 25 open on the firewall, unless you are allowing SBS to manage the firewall for you, when it should make the change.
