How to remove and recreate Public Folder Store in Exchange 2007
I just migrated from sbs 2003 to sbs 2008. The Exchange Migration went well for the most part except when I attempted to migrate the public folder store it didn't seem to do anything. I believe because the public folder store didn't move correctly I am getting some errors related to the Public Folder Store. When I try and update the Hierarchy of the public folder store I receive the following error:Microsoft Exchange Error--------------------------------------------------------Action 'Update Hierarchy' could not be performed on object 'Update Hierarchy'.Update HierarchyFailedError:There are multiple MAPI public trees found.______________________________________In my research to get this fixed I am hearing I need to remove and recreate the public folder store. I have read about a few people attempting to do this and running into issues that Exchange wouldn't let them remove it because it was the last public folder store in the domain and had to use ADSI edit to complete the removal of the public store and then recreate it. My question is what is the proper way to remove the public folder store and recreate it? Thanks for your help in advance!

Hello,Got to Adsiedit.msc -- Configuration -- Services -- Microsoft Exchange -- Org -- Administrative Groups You might find "Folder Hierarchies" under both 'First Administrative Gorup' and 'Exchange Administrative Group'.Refer thread :-http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvradmin/thread/1270aa7c-669d-4faa-a355-3980a5eb6cb8RegardsSujit

There are two Administrative Groups. The first one belongs to the new Exchange 2007 and the "First Administrative Group" still points to the old server that isn't there anymore. How would I go about fixing the Administrative Group that points to a server that is no longer there?
