How to remove a particular email id address in outlook 2013.

We are using outlook 2013 as a POP account.I want to remove/Delete a particular email id in outlook 2013.

Hi,

According to your description, I am not quite sure about your requirement. Whats the exact meaning about a particular email id in your posting?

If you want to remove a message which is send by a particular email address, we can create a Inbox Rule to delete it. For example:

The way which i was posted the question is not so clear.Sorry.We are using a POP account in outlook 2013.

In outlook 2013, i want to delete a particular /specific email address.Whenever i am selecting a email id,it is selecting wrongly as default.

I want to remove a specific email id in outlook 2013.for example,i want to remove the email of (john@gmail.com)

How can i remove the john@gmail.com in outlook 2013.

In outlook 2013, i want to delete a particular /specific email address.Whenever i am selecting a email id,it is selecting wrongly as default.

There are typically two places where you select an email address

#1 - By clicking the <TO> (or CC/Bcc) button and selecting the address from the AddressBook

*** if this is what you are referring to - then you either need to correct or delete the contact item involved from within the contact folder where the contact item resides

#2 - By starting to type in the <TO> box and Outlook auto-suggests the email address (shows a list of possible entries)

*** if this is the case - click on the "X" beside the entry that is incorrect in the list shown
