Hi! I recently took over from a previous admin who configured their company's Exchange 2003 & 2007 servers to rewrite DSN & NDR messages and unfortunately I can't seem to find where to disable this feature as it is quite annoying and preventing our users sending emails to companies using Challenge Response bounce-backs (instead of getting the challenge-response HTML email from the recipient, our server "Exchangify's" the email into an Exchange NDR/DSN message stating. I've tested with another Exchange 2007 server at another client that I support, and they properly receive the challenge-response emails, however I cannot find any options different really between both company's settings in the Exchange Management Console. Any suggestions?

Hi This is a nice article re overwriting messages, it relates to exchange 2007. Have a look, particularly at the section near the bottom....
