How to perform relay from different domain into outside world ?
Hi All,
I'd like to know if this scenario is possible to achieve:
From my Unix box that I monitor, I'd like it to send email to my exchange server and then relay it to outside world as my current active domain ?
at the moment it is sending from root@unixbox1.domain.com into the application support vendor, what I'd like to do is to make it as if it is appears from Unix-Support@domain.com so the application support vendor can know that it is from us.
FYI: at the moment the server is in our DR site with the domain.local AD name while the current production domain name is domain.com
thanks./* Server Support Specialist */

Hi,
It is possible to send mail from an UNIX server to an exchange server and have these mails sent to outside recipients.
Either the UNIX server must authenticate to the default receive connector or the receive connector must be configured to allow relay.
