How to mount public folder database
I am using Exchange Server 2010 Recently i moved the public folder database path to a different location and when i tried to mount it i got a error stating that ---------------------------------- Failed to mount database 'Public Folder Database'. Public Folder DatabaseFailedError:Couldn't mount the database that you specified. Specified database: Public Folder Database; Error code: An Active Manager operation failed. Error: An error occurred during discovery of the database availability group topology. Error: The database action failed. Error: [Active Manager] An exception occurred: Operation failed with message: MapiExceptionCallFailed: Unable to mount database. (hr=0x80004005, ec=-515).. [Database: Public Folder Database, Server: EXCH1.SERVER01.local]. An Active Manager operation failed. Error: An error occurred during discovery of the database availability group topology. Run the command Eseutil /mh on the database file. If the database is in clean shutdown, Move the transaction log files & Checkpoint files to another location & then try to mount the databaseIf its in dirty shutdown state. there would be required log files to make it in cleanshutdown state. Get those log files & replay those log files in to the database file (Eseutil /r)

Hi,I assume that the health of Public folder database was healthy before you moved the location. If it was, then just try to move the log files and check point file to a different location and try to mount.

-515 looks like the error for missing log file http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb267001(EXCHG.80).aspx.

Error “-515 (JET_errInvalidLogSequence)” means that the timestamp in the next log does not match the expected timestamp.
