How to migrate excahnge 2003 to Exchange 2007?
· Hi, we have an exchange 2003 in our production network. We want to change our domain controller and IP address type. Before we are using employ name as username now we are using employ number as username. We successfully installed new exchange 2007 server in our new network. We want to add old exchange 2003 mailboxes to new exchange users. How can we take mail box data from old exchange 2003 and how to add that mail box data to new exchange users? Please any one can help to solve this problem. Note: Old exchange server and old active directory is entirely in different network, I mean type of IP Address is different. Physically both are in same office but in different network and different domain. In New exchange we choose client access rule, mail box rule, and hub transport server rule. Regards, Tanishq

Hi,If the 2 systems can't connect to each other you can use exmerge to extract the mailboxes from the old system and use the import-mailbox cmdlet to import the data into the new mailboxes.http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb629586(EXCHG.80).aspxLeif

Hi,If the two Exchange server are in the same organization and can communicate with each other, you could move the mailbox based on the below article:How to Transition from Single Forest to Single Forest http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997617(EXCHG.80).aspxThanksAllen
