How to make distribution list into a public folder in office365 using powershell

Hello World,

I need to make a distribution list into a public folder email enabled.

I need to make the distribution list test@microsoft.com into a public folder with mailbox enabled.

any please help me

A distribution group sends to all members of the group.  If you want to send mail to a public folder, you mail-enable it (Enable-MailPublicFolder), which enters it into the GAL unless you hide it from the address lists.  Once you mail-enable a public folder you are welcome to make it a member of a distribut

Thanks Ed for your fast response but my problem is the distribution test@microsoft.com is already created in the cloud. I cant change it or know how to make it a public folder.Error this display name already exist. please use a different display name. I did create a different name for the first public folder but I still cant add the distribution list to it. also I dont want to impact the distribution list since its actively working.

You can't make a distribution group into a public folder.  They're two different things.  To reuse the name, you'll have to delete the distribution group first, then create a public folder.  There's no way to add a distribution group to a public folder.
