Hi, Deleting a mailbox is a rather simple task in Exchange 2007: choose the mailbox, select "disable" (DO NOT use remove, cause that will remove the AD User instead of disconnecting the mailbox from the user) from the action pane. Reassociate the "disconnected" mailbox with another existing user account in Active Directory. So got to "Disconnected Mailboxes" choose the mailbox you want to attach to the new user and click connect. Choose "Existing User" and select the user you want to connect to the disconnected mailbox, next & finished. That's it... Greetzz, Timmy

Hi In Exchange 2003, we can see what is the mailbox size of user (also can use link mailbox), do you mean Exchange 2007 cannot see the mailbox size and can't do linking? Thanks !

Hi, This is Exchange 2007 forum so I presume its about exchange 2007. You can re-connect a disconnected mailbox to another user in exchange 2007 like descirbed above, it is different than in exchange 2003. --- To see the mailbox size in exchange 2007 use Exchange Management Shell. Get-mailbox <UserName> | get-mailboxstatistics | select totalitemsize If you take the numbers without the KB you can just paste it and devide it by 1gb or 1mb 566566566 / 1gb - and press enter Greetzz, Timmy| MCITP EMA SA EA | MCTS OCS2 W7 FF | [If people never did silly things, nothing intelligent would ever get done.]

Hello I created user01 and user02 to test this linking method, so I disabled both of them, and goto disconnected mailbox to connect user01 > choose existing user > user02. I open OWA to test user01 for this linking, OWA unable to connect user01, the following is that error: Outlook Web Access could not find a mailbox for ABC\user01. If the problem continues, contact technical support for your organization and tell them the following: The mailbox may be stored on a Microsoft Exchange 2000 or Microsoft Exchange 2003 server, or the Active Directory user account was created recently and has not yet replicated to the Active Directory site where this Client Access server is hosted.

Hi, the Active Directory user account was created recently and has not yet replicated to the Active Directory site where this Client Access server is hosted. If you have multiple DC's you need to wait till replication has happened... All Exchange Information resides in the Schema now so replication is very important. Hi, I think u need to give the credentials of user02 for login to owa as you attached the user02 to the disconnected mailbox of user01. If it is not the case then restart the MS Information Store server and then check it. Regards,Laeeq Qazi|Team Lead(Exchange + Sharepoint + BES + DynamicsCRM) www.HostingController.com
