Dear Experts, I have a SCR and 2 standalone Mailbox servers. All are running Exchange 2007 SP1 RU 10 Now I have to create a recovery storage group for SCR and provide the recovery EDB path to one of the Standalone Servers. Is it possible.? This is because I have enough space on the Standalone server not on the SCR server. Manju

Manju: I believe you just want to create the Recovery storage group on standalone server. Correct me if m wrong. If you want to create the RSG on Standalone server but want to link the database which is on your SCR server. You can do that from Shell but you will not be able to do it from Gui. Here is the command that you can use new-storagegroup -Server <SCR server> -LogFolderPath <path_to_Logfiles> -Name <RSG_Name> -SystemFolderPath <Database_Path> -Recovery new-mailboxdatabase -mailboxdatabasetorecover <SCRDBNAME> -storagegroup <Standaloneservername>\<RSG_Name> -EDBFilePath <Database_Path>Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
