HI, Are you talking about BES server and BES client to have with exchange 2003. If yes then there is no extra configuration for this. BES agent handle it automatically when you install BES server and assign MBX server into it. Quote "someone suggest I can enable the pop3 virtual server." I really don't understand what it mean. Are you looking for OMA access with POP or IMAP account. sorry, we do not have EBS server. but we want to give our BB client a bettter experience when they are checking emails from our exchange 2003 server. So what I can do for them without installing the EBS server? Thanks.

For a better experience I'd use ActiveSyn with Windows Mobile device. (EAS). BB is good if you have a BES server but doesnt work too well with Exch (my opinion). Sukh

Without a BES then the Blackberry experience will be pretty poor, no matter what you do. Your best option is to deploy a BES Express. This is free, and doesn't require a change in the subscription of the device. It will give full functionality, including over the air updating of calendar, contacts, notes etc, and allows the full functionality of the Blackberry device to be used with the mailbox. You don't need CALs. It is all included. All the information that you could need for BES Express is on the Blackberry web site. Google Blackberry Enterprise Server Express and it will take you straight there. Do read the instructions, it has to be installed and setup in a certain way (ie don't use the Administrator account).
