How to install Office 2003 onto a new Toshiba Lap Top.
I am trying to install my Office 2003 cd onto my new Toshiba Laptop. I have the original cd and License Key Confirmation that shows the confirmed puchase. After I type in the License Key when prompted, I get an error saying that I have to have Office 97, 2000, or XP already installed in order to install Office 2003. The only other Office on the computer is the temporary version of Office 2010 that comes with the new computer. How can I install my Office 2003 version? I want to transfer all of my existing files from my Desk Top after I install it.

Hi, The Office 2003 CD you have may be the upgrade disc, not a full installation disc Please create a thread in Office forum, then more people could help you with the problem and more probable to get resolution. Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. Thanks Gen Lin-MSFT
