How to install Exchnage 2003/2007 in non windows domain?
Hello All,I will appreciate your comments and suggestion on thi sissue of mine. I have a Linux domain (windows emultade domain with samba). User profiles and logins are stored on the linux servers. We are using Suse Linux Open Exchange from last few years and now we want to migrate to MS Exchange 2003/2007. Everybody knows its a good supported product. We want to configure Exchange server without disturbing our domain. We still need our Samba domain and want to install Exchange on different stand alone server. Is it possible to have Exchange in non windows domain? We dont have any server with AD?Please suggest, how to perform this setup. Thanks,Gigs

Unfortunately, that is not possible. AD is a hard-coded requirement for Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007. Without it, Exchange cannot even be installed.
