How to install Exchange 2007 CAL's?

Well that's the question. For Exchange 2003 we had to intall the number of Cal's purchased in the license manager. How do youthat for Exchange 2007?I wouldn't like to get connection problems because insufficient licenses were installed.
Must have missed something really obvious.

you cannot enter any Exchange CAL's somewhere, and there is no need, Exchange will continue to work for you regardless of how many mailboxes you create.

This is fine, but without a location to tell the server you have acquired the ECals the advanced features do not work. Has anyone figured this out?

All CAL functionality is always enabled on Exchange server. Its up to the administrator to configure them for users to use.
So in the end its up to the administrators conscious

This stuff drives me absolutely bonkers. Where do you configure a mailbox/server to use the ECALs? I'm trying to get "custom managed folders" setup and can't find anywhere to setup/configure ECALs.

CALS are not "installed" or "tracked" from within Exchange. It is based on the honor system. You can find out how many licenses you have by looking at your software agreement documentation.
