How to insert formatted text into OneNote 2013?

I'm working on a text syntax highlighter software and I would like to know if it is possible to insert formatted text into OneNote 2013 for example:

I paste this line:

<b>This is my text</b>

Will it come up as bold? Are there a list code commands like that which I can use to format the text before I insert into OneNote so that the text will be formatted according?

What are the ways to achieve what I'm trying to do here?

That addon is well documented as not working with OneNote 2013.

Hi!

I do a lot of note taking with One Note 2013 and have been using a lot of Java lately. My solution is a workaround but it gets the job done.

I use a pastebin (specifically slexy) http://slexy.org/ to specify my language, past my code, and then copy and paste that code from slexy into One Note.

It is not the most elegant solution, and I really wish One Note supported inserting code directly from an IDE.

Best,

Lev

If  you don't want to upload your code first, Word 2013 is able to directly apply the syntax highlighting. You can paste your source code from Powershell ISE to Word and then to OneNote. It's still a workaround, but at least you don't need an extra account.
