How to get the server ID into the MessageID (MTS-ID) field in tracking logs?
I've searched for a few days now, found tidbits of information here & there, but nothing concrete. How can I set up exchange to make sure that the server name shows up in the message ID column within tracking logs? The FQDN is properly set within the "Advanced Delivery" dialog box, which stems off of the "Default SMTP Virtual Server Properties". Could it be a DNS issue, if the FQDN is properly set, yet the server name does not show up in the message ID? I've racked my brains and can't figure out why the server name is not in my tracking logs...ANY help is greatly appreciated! Cheers, and TIA.
