How to get Mobility Through DMZ
We are running Exchange 2010 which receives mails through a Notes server from our mother company. We would like to use the mobility functions of Exchange 2010, but how should we do this as we have some "show-stoppers". Only way to reach anything from outside is through the DMZWe are using a Bluecoat with 'Black-hole' proxying, which means there will NOT be opened any ports in the firewall. I've been trying to read up on this, and the only way I can see this solved is by placing a CAS server in the DMZ, but this is not supported.... What to do?

Placing CAS in DMZ is not supported. But u can put reverse proxy - Microsoft suggest TMG or UAG servers, but it's possible to use also other reverse proxies. For Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) there is also a possibility to configure private APN to connect mobile phones to internal network.Regards, Konrad Sagala, MCT, MCSE+M, MCITP: Exchange 2007/2010, Lync 2010, Office365, Windows 2008, Virtualization
