How to fix a split brain scenario in Exchange

Hi guys i was wondering, In the event of a datacentre failover where DAC was not enabled and thus Split Brain occurred when the sites were back online. How would you go about fixing a situation like this?

Thanks.

I've never had to do this so this based on my understanding.

Pick the side you want to keep.  Remove the database copies on the other side, and remove those servers from the DAG.  Add them back and reseed the database copies.

As Ed said, pick the side you want to keep.

1. Stop cluster service on each server at the site you do NOT want to keep (site A) and force a clean up.

2. Stop cluster service on each server at the site you want to keep (site B) and force a quorum start of the cluster service on a DAG member at this site.

3. Evict the nodes located in site A from the cluster.

4. Reconfigure the witness server, and start the cluster service on DAG members at site B.

5. Move the active mailbox databases from site A and activate in site B.
