How to find the OWA and outlook users in Exchange 2007?
Hi Team Happy New Year to all !!! I would like to take the report or list of People who are currently using the outlook Web Access (OWA) and Outlook client from the Exchange server 2007 . Is there any PS command or any script to find out? or Any Free Tools? regards Ramki

Hi, The following cmdlet gives list of all mailboxes and a column with OWA/POP status: Get-CASMailbox | ft DisplayName, OWAEnabled Get-CASMailbox | ft DisplayName, POPEnabled The following cmdlet gives the list with mailboxes that have OWA/POP enabled: Get-CASMailbox | where { $_.OWAEnabled } | ft DisplayName, OWAEnabled Get-CASMailbox | where { $_.POPEnabled } | ft DisplayName, POPEnabledRegards from www.windowsadmin.info

Thanks Manu for your Reply. The above command is executing,the list the people whose owa is Enabled in the user Properties. But by Default all the mailbox user has enabled OWA and POP. My query is different from the above. I need the list of people who is using or working in the OWA and Outlook client Currently.In Our Org,By Default all the users are OWA enabled. but some of the user is working or using OWA and some the users are working via Outlook Client. i need the list of people who is currently working via OWA as well OL client Hope you understand However the command which you gave is usefull.

The information that you seek is not recorded by Exchange. With regards to OWA, the IIS logs will record who is using it, and any of the numerous IIS log processing tools can generate reports on authenticated users and report the user name. Hi Ramki, Simon is right, if you want to collect some information about who used owa to login, maybe the IIS log will help you, and you will find it in C:\Windows\System32\LogFiles\W3SVC1 Here is an article about how to use the Microsoft Logparser Utility to analyze IIS log files. Hello Serena Thanks for your reply, I already gone through the above Link where i am having the free thrird Party Utility like exinsight,where is 100 % workingh for Exchange 2003. I did n't get the same free utility for Exchange 2007. However its is worthfull while looking the IIS logs , it is giving some more information in regrads of OWA users, but still am having the some error while opening the logs via Log Parser GUI. Am working on it , will speak u soon if am not through....or with the positive commnent... Thankyou always
