How to filter calendar by a particular calendar (my calendar, etc.)

I have the same question posted here: http:// social. technet. microsoft. com /Forums/office/en-US/02f058ba-c92a-429d-a1d6-86b209adac4f/outlook-calendars-and-filters? (Remove spaces to get to link, since apparently the account I just verified isn't getting picked up as verified and therefore I can't actually include links.  And unfortunately, the Reply buttons in that post aren't working - they do nothing in both Firefox and IE 10 - which is why I had to start a new thread.  Brilliant.)

Anyway, I understand Diane's reply that this is not possible, which is extremely lame on Microsoft's part, since in general Outlook has by far more options for customizability than any other personal data management tool I know of, and I could almost see an argument for why this makes sense in a normal calendar view - monthly, weekly, etc. - with multiple overlaid calendars (not really, since applying a view with such a filter could just de-select the calendars which were excluded by the filter), but this makes absolutely no sense in the list view.

Speaking of the list view, I was only using it to gain the ability to see the created and modified date/time for calendar events, which in itself is ridiculous - it should be displayed when you view the event's properties.

Truly stunning that this many years into the product's lifecycle, and with things like this just common functionality in other products (for instance, created/modified by and timestamp is part of the properties of all items in Dynamics CRM), nobody seems to be paying any attention to (or putting real effort into) managing Microsoft products as a whole to make sure the best features of various products are available across the board and with a consistent user interface.

In the list view you can have different views on different folders. Only the day/week/month calendars use the same view when you have multiple calendars open.

If the edited view is not working as expected, create a custom view and apply it to the calendar.
