I have visio file which has some symbols. I would like to export these symbols properties to csv file.

My question is can I export visio symbols properties to csv file?

If it is possible, may I know the steps to do?

As far as I know, Visio cant export csv file directly.

I think you can generate a property report first.

You can try to do following steps:

1)On the Tools menu, click Reports. In the Report list, click the name of the report definition you want to use.

2) Create a new report definition, click New, and then follow the instructions in the Report Definition wizard.

3) Save it as xml.

4) Open the XML file in Excel and save as CVS.
