we've been using Exchange 2003 OWA and Mobile access for some time without adequate network protection we've been whacked constantly by spammers as a result now i'm installing a TMG server and need to publish the Exchange 2003 server, OWA, mobile access How can I export the SSL certificate from exchange to TMG, and what other configuration changes need to occur on the exchange server in order to operate within this new model?

Find the cert in the machine account's certificate store, right-click, and pick "Export" from the "Tasks" item. >and what other configuration changes need to occur on the exchange server in order to operate within this new model? If you don't use FBA on the TMG server, there should be nothing more for you to do. I don't know what you expect the TMG to do for you, though. If you were installing Forefront Protection for Exchange (with the Anti-Spam feature) and Exchange 2007 (or 2010) Edge server on the TMG you have a fairly effective perimeter security device. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

Hello, 1. On the Exchange server, open MMC and add the certificate snap-in. 2. Find certificate and export it. 3. Copy it to TMG and install the certificate. Thanks, Simon
